In the past, the Warren Opera House has been used for everything from band concerts, play
performances and basketball games, retail merchandise promotions and prohibition meetings.

The future of the opera house is bright, as we foresee using the facility for high school plays, college
performances, corporate meetings, wedding dances and graduations!  This multi-purpose facility will
accommodate about 300 guests.  The facility will be equipped with facility meeting rooms and a catering
kitchen to accompany the restored theater auditorium and performing arts stage.
Restoration of the Warren Opera
House is proposed in three
phases.  Phase I will  include
demolition, installation of fire
 protection, heating, cooling
 and plumbing.  Phase II will
 include new lobby renovation, a
new staircase, elevator,
kitchenette, and general interior
restoration.  Finally, Phase III will
complete the interior restoration
and reconstruct the exterior of the
building.  We hope to replace
cornices, mouldings and to repaint
the original mural that is still
faintly visible on the west facade.
Total restoration funds needed are
$1.2million.
Currently, fund raising efforts are
underway.  Local support is
growing, and several grants are
being pursued.  If you would like
to support our efforts, please
