Photos of our demolition and the baby steps toward
restoration of this Grand Old Theater!

Mr. Frog Winslow lived in a room apartment at the
Warren Opera House sometime in the 1940-50's. A
local artist and sign-maker, Frog was rumored to
enjoy creativity and a nip at the bottle every now
and again.  He passed away in the opera house, and
many believe he still haunts its halls.  Frog Winslow's
mailbox still hangs just inside the opera house doors.
 He is our favorite resident.

Mark as he secures the scaffolding.

Right:  Mark carefully removes the antique
light fixtures.  They will be reused in the
future restroom areas.

Below:  Photos of the ceiling demolition
process.  On January 20, the entire ceiling
was removed and lath and paper tiles were
removed.  Piles of plaster remain and will be
removed in the next weeks.  Then,
under-balcony sections of the opera house
will be restored.
